Finding the right fit for a therapist is key in your ability to address your needs in therapy.  Therapy is a place where you can be your most honest self, without worry of judgment or negative impact on your intimate relationships as you examine your life and explore your thoughts and feelings.  In light of that, it is of utmost importance that you find someone you can feel comfortable with and the initial phone call with the therapist can give you a good feel for that.
